Ellen Labitzke: I am an undergraduate student at UC Davis. This quarter, I took my first Asian American Studies course, and it made me realize how much my education had lacked Asian American history of any kind. For our final projects, we were instructed to share Asian American history with the Davis campus. Because this class taught me that history is made not only by politicians, but by everyday people as well, I decided to ask other students to share their versions of the Asian American experience with me. This blog will be a collection of their stories.
